A Note from Stella

Stella wrote this note this morning while eating her breakfast before going to school. She hid it in my notebook, where I found it later on.

It made me smile.

Fun facts about Colby's imaginary friend Oatmeal

-- Even though Oatmeal is 45 years old, he goes to preschool at Stella's school. I said to Colby, "I thought Oatmeal lived in Florida." to which he replied, "It's a long drive for him." -- Oatmeal has seen the Easter Bunny. -- Oatmeal's mom's name is "Sandwich." -- Oatmeal sliced his finger off with a nail file the other day, but he went to the hospital and got it fixed. -- Oatmeal wore his pajamas to the library, the grocery store, and to Stew Leonard's (a local grocery store) the other day. (He said this in hopes that it would allow him to wear his jammies on our outing!) --Oatmeal jumped off the stairs with a kite and flew gently down to the bottom without getting hurt. --Oatmeal likes to eat mayonaise and cheese sandwiches dipped in mac and cheese for breakfast. -- Oatmeal calls bananas "ba-nee-nees" -- Oatmeal eats teeny teeny tiny dinosaurs for lunch. --Oatmeal was born in Maine
